Cancellation & Returns

Effective date: July 17, 2026

1. Free Trial

• If you sign up for a free trial, you can cancel any time before the trial ends at no charge -- see "How to Cancel" below
• If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your payment method will automatically be charged for the plan you selected (Monthly or Yearly), and that plan's normal cancellation terms apply from that point on

2. Monthly Subscriptions

• You may cancel a monthly subscription at any time by emailing us -- see "How to Cancel" below
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period; you keep access to the Service until then
• We do not issue partial-month refunds for the time remaining in a billing period

3. Yearly Subscriptions

• Yearly subscriptions come with a 14-day money-back guarantee. If you cancel within 14 days of your original purchase date, we will refund the full yearly fee
• After the 14-day window has passed, the yearly fee is non-refundable for the remainder of that year, but you may still cancel at any time to stop the subscription from renewing the following year
• If a refund does not apply, cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period

4. How to Cancel

Email us at hello@toolguys.app with your Login ID and a request to cancel. We do not currently offer self-service cancellation through the website or the app -- a person will process your request, which can take up to 3 business days.

5. Refund Method

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method through Stripe, our payment processor. Refunds are typically reflected on your statement within 5-10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer.
