Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, installing the software, or using checks.toolguys.app (together, the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of the Service

Simply Print Checks provides desktop software for printing business checks, recording transactions, and generating reports, together with a hosted account and licensing service. The Service is a tool to help you print and record checks -- it is not accounting, tax, banking, or legal advice, and we recommend you consult a qualified professional for those matters.

3. Accounts

• Accounts are created by us on your behalf; you agree to provide accurate account information and to keep your login credentials confidential
• Each account may only be used on one computer at a time. The software automatically records the first computer it is signed into and will not run on a different computer unless we reset that record for you
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account

4. Subscription and Payment

• The Service is offered on a subscription basis, currently $15 per month or $150 per year
• Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled
• You may cancel your subscription at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
• Fees are non-refundable except where required by law
• We may change our pricing with reasonable advance notice

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to bypass the licensing/authentication mechanisms of the software
• Share your account credentials with, or use your account on behalf of, anyone other than the business the account was created for
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose, including printing fraudulent financial instruments

6. Your Data

You retain ownership of the transaction data you enter into the Service. We store a copy on our servers so it can be restored to your computer if needed. See our Privacy Policy for more detail on how we handle your information.

7. Disclaimers

• The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied
• You are solely responsible for reviewing each check before it is issued for accuracy of the amount, recipient, and other details -- we are not responsible for errors in the information you enter
• We do not guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Simply Print Checks and its owners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, or data, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months before the claim arose.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, fail to pay applicable fees, or if we reasonably believe your account poses a risk to the Service or other users. You may stop using the Service and cancel your subscription at any time.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will post the updated Terms on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
